Did a March for Babies Walk today!! It was such a neat experience and I'm really glad that I had the opportunity to go. The thing that I just absolutely LOVED is that there were so many people joined together to support such a good cause. It really touched my heart.

Just got back from Dcon tonight. It was super awesome. One of the major emphasis goals is to raise $110 million dollars for the Eliminate Program. Kiwanis Club and Unicef have joined together to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. I was really touched this weekend and hope that next year our club will be able to help out a lot with this goal. We went on a walk and got these cool shirts.  http://sites.kiwanis.org/Kiwanis/en/theELIMINATEproject/Video2.aspx

I'm so excited that I could go. I learned so much new information about Key Club and I am so stoked for next year!

Children's Justice Center Program!! My mom volunteered me to sort everything and this was the journey

                                                              What I recieved...

After I sorted it all out...

Put back into bags and boxes (sorted) and ready to go!

Bottlecaps!!! Not the delicious candy kind though. Each bottlecap provides 1 minute of free dialysis, I didn't collect all of them by myself but I am so excited that there is so many. Thanks to everyone who helps out.

Went to my first press conference today!! Identity theft is a big problem, but did you know that people can use the social security number of children and get away with it for years. Utah has created the VERY FIRST way to protect the children's social security number and the protection will stick until they're 17. This program is AWESOME and completely FREE and will make the lives of so many Utahns (and hopefully a bunch of other states will join in soon) so much easier. http://www.idtheft.utah.gov/

The lady behind me in the blue shirt is Carole Mikita (yeah no big deal or anything) just barely saw myself on the news wahoo that's a big deal, pretty cool!!!!!

First post, so excited : ) I just thought this would be an awesome way to share some of the things i've been doing and some of the stuff I'm involved with.
